Our Services

  • FTL, or Full Truckload, refers to transporting a large shipment that fills an entire truck. This type of shipping is typically used for large shipments to require a trailer with a capacity of at least 10 pallets or more.

LTL, or Less Than Truckload, refers to the transportation of smaller shipments that do not require an entire truck. LTL shipments are typically consolidated with other smaller shipments and shipped in a trailer with a capacity of fewer than 10 pallets.

OTR, or Over the Road, refers to the transportation of goods by truck over long distances. OTR shipping is typically used for shipments that are traveling more than 500 miles.

RAIL refers to the transportation of goods by train. Rail shipping is often used for large shipments that are traveling long distances, as it can be a more cost-effective and efficient option compared to trucking.

  • Shipping oversized items can be challenging because they may not fit on standard shipping vehicles or may exceed weight limits for certain modes of transportation. As a result, it is important to work with a logistics company that has experience handling oversized shipments and can provide the necessary equipment and resources to transport the goods safely and efficiently. This may include the use of specialized trailers, cranes, or other lifting equipment to load and unload the goods.

  • Heavy haul refers to the transportation of extremely heavy or oversized loads, typically weighing more than 100,000 pounds. These types of shipments often require specialized equipment and trained personnel to handle and transport them safely.

Heavy haul shipments may include items such as large construction machinery, industrial equipment, or prefabricated structures. These types of shipments may require the use of specialized trailers, such as lowboy trailers or flatbed trailers, and may also require the use of cranes or other lifting equipment to load and unload the goods.

  • A flatbed is a type of trailer that has an open, flat platform with no sides or roof. Flatbed trailers are commonly used for the transportation of heavy or oversized loads, as they can accommodate items that are too large or tall to fit on a standard trailer.

  • A box truck, also known as a cube truck or straight truck, is a type of truck that has a large, enclosed cargo area, or "box," at the back. Box trucks are used for the transportation of goods that need to be protected from the elements or require secure storage during transport.

Box trucks come in a range of sizes, from small delivery trucks with a capacity of just a few pallets to larger trucks that can hold multiple pallets or oversized loads.

  • Refrigerator trucks, also known as reefer trucks, are vehicles equipped with a refrigeration unit that is used to transport temperature-sensitive goods. These types of trucks are commonly used in the food and beverage industry to transport items such as produce, dairy products, and frozen goods.

Refrigerator trucks are designed to maintain a consistent temperature inside the cargo area, typically ranging from 0 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit. This helps to preserve the quality and integrity of the goods being transported. The temperature of the cargo area can be adjusted and monitored using a control panel located inside the cab of the truck.

Refrigerator trucks come in a range of sizes, from small delivery trucks to larger trailers that can hold multiple pallets or oversized loads. They are commonly used by food and beverage distributors, supermarkets, and other businesses that need to transport temperature-sensitive goods over short or medium distances.

  • Drayage refers to the transportation of goods over a short distance, typically within a port or terminal area. Drayage services are typically used to move cargo between a shipping vessel and a storage or distribution facility or to transport goods between different terminal locations.

Drayage is often used in the shipping and logistics industry to move containers and other large cargo items that are too large or heavy to be transported by smaller vehicles. Drayage companies typically use specialized equipment, such as tractors and trailers, to transport the goods.

Drayage services may also include the handling and storage of the goods at the terminal or storage facility. This may include loading and unloading the cargo, as well as warehousing and distribution services.
